We visited the Clendon Library to showcase our products. The Librarians were impressed with the dolls and especially the waka and outriggers. They have finally seen something that relates to their own history and something they can hold and use during their story times and outreach programs.
they could see many uses of the dolls in their environment and have even thought about hiring them out to customers as these would be one of the first type of Polynesian dolls or people children and families would have seen.
a great visit which would lead to more of the community been able to access these products that represent who they are and hopefully making our cultures be more visible in our communities
