Māori myths and legends

Service Description

Become engaged with many of the popular Māori myths and legends with demonstrations with the beautifully hand painted and crafted resources which brings these past tales to life. Participants will also be challenged to retell these myths in legends when they break up into small groups and discuss lessons and morals from them. Creating you own village with Wharenui, Whare, Pataka and Waharoa. Fences, vegetables, farm animals and waka will be at your disposal to create your own village. Other activities would also be provided with participation required by all. A great time will be had by all. Finished off with learning a simple waiata.
